Mick Karol BA (Hons) MCSD FRSA
The original founding member of the company, Mick has now approaching 40 years of experience in the design and manufacturing arenas.
Originally specialising in transportation, Mick has since worked in diverse industries ranging from Machine Tools through to Consumer Goods, Medical Devices and Scientific Equipment. Now acting as managing director of the company, Mick oversees its strategy policy, growth, and internal product development plans.
Mick also works extensively with private investors, venture capital investors, universities and other companies looking to introduce new technologies into new markets.
Outside of work, Mick is a huge petrolhead and spends most of his spare time riding his bikes, travelling and skiing.
Martin is our Operations Manager with experience in Product Development and Quality Management. He brings the business a full and well-developed knowledge of Innovation Processes, Product Development, Sourcing, Quality Control, and Manufacturing Process Control – all gained from over 25 years of ‘hands-on’ experience.
Martin has helped many of our clients to improve product quality & reduce costs by assisting them to remove the risks and complexities of finding, auditing, developing and approving new suppliers both at home & abroad.
Outside of work, Martin enjoys walking, camping, playing golf & socialising.
Olivia Crichton BSc (Hons)
Sales & Marketing Manager
Olivia joined the team at Blueprint in 2018 as our Sales & Marketing Manager and specialises in market analysis, sales, and strategy. She has a multidisciplinary background, working in aerospace and FMCG industries before joining Blueprint and incorporates this knowledge into her marketing activity on a daily basis. Olivia received a joint honours degree from Lancaster University in Marketing and Psychology and has a keen interest in consumer psychology.
Outside of work, Olivia enjoys walking her border terrier, baking and interior design.
Rob Perry MA,BA (Hons)
Rob Perry is a designer at Blueprint and been party to many of Blueprint’s recent successes, helping create numerous award-winning product solutions. Rob is responsible for handling much of the early stage of the design process, including the conceptualisation of new ideas and setting the broad outlines that determine product direction. Much of this process involves understanding people’s needs and product requirements and translating that information into viable options and solutions that meet the clients’ values and business strategies.
Outside of work, Rob is a self-confessed movie geek (in particular 80’s & 90’s), LEGO fan, mountain biker and mini-mad classic car junkie.
